StageCred
Last updated September 18, 2026. Operated by StageCred, Austin, Texas. Questions: hello@getstagecred.com.
StageCred keeps a record of the moment a fan believes in an artist: a tap at a live show, and what the fan does for that artist afterwards. This policy says what we collect to do that, what we do with it, and what we never do.
To follow an artist on Spotify, YouTube or SoundCloud in one tap, StageCred asks you to sign in to that platform through its own screen. That platform gives StageCred a short-lived token limited to following and checking a follow. We use it once, for that follow, and do not store it. We never see or ask for your password on any platform. You can revoke StageCred's access at any time in that platform's settings.
Google user data received through Google sign-in (your email and name) or the YouTube scope is used only to sign you in and to subscribe you to the artist's channel when you ask. It is not sold, not used for advertising, not transferred to anyone except as needed to provide that feature, and not used to build profiles.
Your name, the links you add, genres, city, a biography, and the accounts you connect to prove the page is yours. Payouts are handled by Stripe, which collects the identity and bank details it needs directly; StageCred never sees them.
Support sent to an artist goes through Stripe Checkout. Your card is entered on Stripe's page, not ours. StageCred records the amount and Stripe's payment id.
Supabase (database and sign-in), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), and the platform you sign in to when you ask us to follow an artist there. Each receives only what it needs for its part.
Backings are a permanent record by design; that is what a believer number means. To delete an account, or to ask what we hold about a browser id, write to hello@getstagecred.com. We will remove account data and unlink the browser id within 30 days.
StageCred is for people 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger.
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
