StageCred records that a fan backed an artist at a show, the connections and support that follow, and derives a Belief Score from that record. It is provided by StageCred, Austin, Texas.
A backing, a believer number, a Belief Score and any tier are records of support. They are not securities, investments, currency or financial instruments, carry no monetary value, and cannot be sold or transferred. Support sent to an artist is a gift to that artist, less Stripe's fee and StageCred's 5% platform fee, and is not refundable by StageCred.
One backing per person per show-night. Do not back on behalf of someone else, use more than one browser to inflate a count, or report a follow you did not make. We may discount or remove records that do not reflect a real person at a real show.
You may claim a page only for an act you are part of or authorised to represent. Links you add must be your own. Payouts require a Stripe account and Stripe's terms apply to them.
Following an artist on Spotify, YouTube, SoundCloud or elsewhere is subject to that platform's terms. StageCred acts only when you tap, and never stores your passwords.
StageCred is in pilot. We may change or withdraw features, and the service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, StageCred is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service.
